The managment and staff at  Ebs Source For Adventure are enthusiastic and active participants for the sports we sell to. From sailing to canoeing to kayaking to cross country skiing and snowshoeing, we have the people who have been there and can answer your questions. We have the experience to outfit you with the appropriate equipment and accessories, and point you to the right locations in Saskatchewan (and beyond) for your adventures. What's New

Interested in what's new at the store ? Here's a taste:

Winter is on its way out early this year - our skiers are sooo sad. But that also means its a good time to get great deals on skis and snowshoes. Selected skis and boots from Salomon, Fischer and Alpina are 25% off. Our snowshoes from Redpine, Faber, MSR and Atlas are all 20% off. Winter clothing, mitts, toques, and accessories are also 25% off. Sizes are limited, and we'll be putting the winter gear away soon, so come check it out soon and you could score an incredible deal for next year's winter of adventure. 

Canoes and Kayaks for the 2010 season are coming in - So far we've seen our new canoes and kayaks from Wenonah, Current Designs and Clipper. Boats from Necky, Ocean Kayak, Delta Kayaks, and Old Town are expected soon.

If sit down paddling is nor to your liking - We are now carrying SUPs - thats Stand Up Paddle boards to the uninitiated. What is a Stand Up Paddle board you ask  - envision yourself standing on a surfboard with a long paddle for propulsion and stability.   We don't have much surf in Saskatchewan but these are are capable of much more than big waves. Paddle them on a calm lake, down the South Saskatchewan, play in whitewater, or be the big Kahuna in the surf on Lake Diefenbaker - all while standing up !  We will be carrying SUPs from Starboard this year. There are different shapes and sizes of SUPs - some designed for stability and ease of use, some are designed for maneuvrability or straight ahead speed. Let the staff at Eb's will help you select the SUP thats right for you. Don't be afraid of trying a new sport this summer - come out to our demo in May.

• Reel Paddling Film Festival at Broadway Theatre Friday March 26, 2010 6:30 - 9 PM hosted by CPAWS Saskatchewan chapter. The Reel Paddling Film Festival presents the world’s best whitewater, sea kayaking and canoeing action and lifestyle films of the year . Need some inspiration for your summer of paddling ? This is the place to get inspired ! 

• Sea Kayaking Lessons are a great way to discover how easy the sport of kayaking can be. Lessons are appropriate for novice kayakers who should learn basic paddle strokes, wet exit, and self rescue techniques. Also - a little experience gained from lessons will go a long way in helping you determine the type of kayak you want to purchase. Even the experienced paddler can benefit by tuning up their paddling skills for a summer on the water.

Kingston Sea Kayak Instruction is running winter/spring sea kayaking courses now, with more courses to follow in the summer. Courses range from the Introduction to Kayaking, suitable for those who have never before sat in a kayak, to more advanced courses for those looking to build on their current skills. Follow up on their website - or come talk to us for more information. This is the summer to start your kayak adventure and Kingston Sea Kayak Instruction will give you the head start you need.
