Base and Mid Layers
Base Layers and Midlayers from Lifa, Craft, Icebreaker, and Swix will keep you dry and warm during your fall and winter activities. Choose a base layer for its ability to wick moisture away from your skin because moisture will chill you as soon as you reduce your activity level. Choose a mid layer for added warmth. Craft Pro Zero tops and bottoms with Gore Windstopper allow you to keep to your outdoor training schedule regardless of the chilly winter breezes that you may encounter.
Icebreaker baselayer and midlayer clothing is made from Merino, merging comfort and performance. Merino clothing can maintain freshness much longer than synthetics – Peter Blake proved this during a 40 day sailing circumnavigation in which he wore the same Merino garments non-stop. You may not want to put it to the same test – but you know where the boundaries are . . .
Socks:
Whether your activity is hiking, skiing, walking or for just day to day wear, Icebreaker and Smartwool make Merino socks that can’t be beat for comfort. And if you are on a long trip where you are packing light – Merino’s ability to stay fresh makes it the only way to go.
Gloves, Mitts, Toques and Accessories:
We carry gloves and mitts from Au Clair, Lil Sport, and Swix. The Lillehammer Thinsulate glove from Au Clair has proven to be a very popular glove with recreation skiers. To top of your head we carry an assortment of toques, earbands, and balaclavas from Swix, Lil Sport, Mountain Hardwear, Icebreaker, Craft.
